Winner - student art competition

Staffordshire University have held a student competition for a design of the 5 panels which will 'frame' the entrance into their new Science centre.  It will be visible from Leek road and will give people an idea of the sciences which will bring a world-class reputation to Stoke on Trent.

The winner is Thomas Wilsdon, a 2nd year student in the Arts faculty.  Thomas will be presented with his prize at the launch event in October.  He is currently working with professional designers and sign-makers to advance his design and arrange for production.  The materials will complement the building's facade and denote the global importance of the sciences.
